Spec Check - Mikhail Grigorenko

Mikhail Grigorenko was one of the most highly touted prospects in the 2012 NHL Draft, the 6’ 2 215 pound power forward with soft hands and a finishing touch was drafted 12th overall. Unfortunately, much like most of the 2012 NHL draft class, things did not work out as planned for Mikhail. After just 5 years in the NHL (only 2 full seasons) he found himself back in the KHL. This big power forward was a Bauer guy for the duration of his NHL career, but upon his return to the KHL he expanded his horizons and has tried multiple different stick brands…including Soyuz. For the 2026 KHL All-star game, Mikhail used a 63” 90 flex P92 Soyuz Master FRST dressed as the 2026 Limited edition All-star graphic. The Soyuz Master FRST is a Mid-kick stick that offers maximum shot power with a fairly easy load.
