Spec Check: Dylan Larkin🛞

Dylan Larkin had one of the more interesting offseasons in hockey after requesting a trade from the Detroit Red Wings back in June. At the time it felt like there was a real chance we had seen his last game in Detroit, but over two months later, nothing has materialized and it’s starting to look more and more likely that Larkin could be back wearing the winged wheel this season.

Gear-wise, Larkin keeps things pretty straightforward. He’s using a Warrior Alpha LX Pro with an 85 flex, W03 Blade 1 curve and tactile grip. The 85 flex gives him a nice mix of whip and stability, which makes a lot of sense for a player who creates so much off the rush but still plays hard through the middle of the ice.

The W03 is Warrior’s version of the classic P92-style curve, so it’s about as versatile as it gets. Great for shooting, passing and handling the puck at speed.
