What stick does Thomas Harley use?
Dallas Stars prospect Thomas Harley was the 1st OHL player taken in the 2019 NHL draft (18th overall), and after a stellar 1st season as a pro, he seems poised to make the jump to the big leagues this year.
Harley's fine play got him called up to last year's Canada World Junior team, where he would have received these custom graphic sticks. Like many players at the tournament, he went with the Red Canada Geo graphic over his 2S Pro XL (mid kick ADV) build, which Bauer knocked out of the park.
In terms of specs, Harley uses an extended height 87 flex stick, and prefers the mild curve of the PM9 pattern (CCM P14). This pattern is rarely seen at the retail level these days, but was widely used a few years back, and remains popular with some of the NHL's top playmakers, such as Sidney Crosby who uses a custom variant of it.
