What stick does Alex Newhook use?
Avalanche rookie Alex Newhook scored a beauty for his first regular season NHL goal earlier this week against San Jose. The product of Boston College and St John's, Newfoundland scored for the Avs in last year's postseason and will be glad to be off the mark in the regular season now as well.
A former first round pick, Newhook uses the gold standard P92 curve with 87 flex, though we have also had 82 flex twigs in from him in the past. The use of the 2N Pro build with Geo graphics has been popular this year among lots of pro players who prefer the traditional shaft dimensions to the more modern Geo, which appears to be the case with Newhook as well.
