As I watched the Bruins and Panthers game go into a shootout last night, I noticed the first two shooters rocking STX gloves and sticks. I feel like I am seeing this brand more and more in the league, or perhaps I'm noticing because a week earlier I just bought every single extra pro stock stick and glove they had!
Either way, I have taken note of them and wanted to explain why. I reached out to STX in the summer with a request to buy all of their pro stock goods, as I think it could be a great opportunity to benefit my loyal HSM consumers.
WHY STX IS ENTICING
First, I noticed the high number of NHL players who have begun to choose STX as their stick and glove of choice. Major brands have dominated for so long, that this is quite the achievement for a lacrosse company that has planted their seed in the sport industry and is now watching itself grow into hockey. They also have a top-notch NCAA hockey program (Miami Ohio) and a great group of highly knowledgeable hockey guys on their staff.
WHY I THINK YOU SHOULD TRY IT
The price! I don't feel the need to bore you with the details of manufacturing specifications, you know it's the highest of quality when it's made for use in the NHL, but STX has given us the the opportunity to try its products at a price point far below its value.
