Leadership Team - Joey Walsh (President)
Joey Walsh built HockeyStickMan from the ground up with a passion for hockey development and accessibility.
His background includes: Leadership in Amateur Hockey Development. Running the U17 Hockey Program. Serving on the National Development Committee. Working with the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games
After the Olympics, Joey launched HockeyStickMan with a vision to make hockey more affordable by sourcing pro return, manufacturer-direct, and refurbished equipment.
Leadership Team - Nick Walsh (Vice President)
Nick Walsh played NCAA hockey at Dartmouth and went on to compete in the ECHL before joining the business. He made the decision to step away from further pro opportunities to help grow HockeyStickMan.
His expertise in financial management and operational efficiency ensures the company can: Maximize payouts to teams, and offer competitive pricing to customers.
Leadership Team - John Harmsen (Director of Pro Services)
John joined HockeyStickMan in 2017 with a background in hockey retail and a deep knowledge of equipment.
In 2023, he transitioned full-time from a career in policing to lead Pro Services, allowing the company to expand its offerings to teams across North America.
His focus is on: strengthening team partnerships, delivering high-value service solutions, and continuing to grow the Pro Services division.
