Great Intermediate Stick that Won't Break the Bank
"The Pro Blackout (Extra Lite) stick has lasted longer than $200+ other named brand intermediate sticks I've previously purchased. I like the wide variety of curves and flex options on selection, no need to constantly shop around. The flex (65) and weight (400g) are exactly as advertized being mid to high end quality. The free shipping is also a nice touch. Now that my son is 16, time to upgrade to a senior stick this year, I might as well buy one for myself too and use the loyalty points for a later purchase."

"Great stick, super light yet still has pop. The price is great too for my use: I’m playing mostly outdoor roller hockey on concrete rinks so they will grind sticks down. These sticks are still holding up and are much better than the usual 2 pieces I have to use for roller ODR."
Pro Blackout Extra Lite
"Good overall stick. I play beer league 2 to 4 nights a week and the stick was definitely good enough for that. Held up for a few months before a slash caused a chip. That chip is where the stick eventually snapped about a month later on a clapper. Stick still had plenty of pop in it when it broke and the blade was still near perfect. Replaced it with a prototype because I want to give it a try. Would have no problem going back to the Extra Lite, especially because they make the Extra Lite in my preferred blade pattern."

"Coming from a trigger 8 pro, I didn’t think it would feel like so much of a downgrade. A lot of the guys on my team use blackout sticks so I figured I’d give it a chance, but it’s a back up stick after trying it in warm up. Blade felt dead and the pop wasn’t there for me."

Normally when I purchase hockey sticks they are safe and secure in a cardboard box; however, my stick from Hockey Stick Man was wrapped and shipped in plastic. Although my stick was left unharmed I would appreciate further purchases being stored and shipped in a cardboard box."

Great stick - Replaced my True HZRDUS 7
"Bought the Extra Light Pro because several guys I skate with using them. I tried a friends for a few shifts and instantly liked the feel, lightness and snap. I had been using a True HZRDUS 7 stick, which I really liked but it was impossible to find anymore and the costs for newer versions was too much. I really liked the idea that I could build the stick exactly the way I wanted it so my Extra Light feels the same as my True HZRDUS. Well, the first pickup I played with it I scored 5 goals so clearly the Extra Light quicky become my favorite stick and I am in the process of purchasing again."

- Hi, The Pro Blackout Extra Lite has a low kick point, while the standard Pro Blackout would have a hybrid mid kick point.
- I bought the SPECIAL - Pro Blackout™ (Extra Lite) and at 6' 2" I need to put a 4" extension on it. What brand do I need to purchase to accomplish it?
- The Pro Blackout Extra Lite is designed in 85 and 95 flex to come with the extended height. You must have purchased the 70 or 75 flex? We typically encourage customers of that height to go with an 85 flex or higher due to the amount of leverage capacity that you have on the stick already. However, send an email to info@hockeystickman.com and ask if they will send you one at no charge.....might get someone on a good day! - Joey Walsh
- Hey there, I see for the P30 Parise the Lie is 5-6. did you happen to know what the actual lie is? the difference between a 5 and 6 is fairly significant for me. THanks!
- CCM says that the lie of the P30 is a lie of 6. That curve is based on the Kane pattern with more of a toe pattern. They do not print the lie angle on the sticks. Hope that helps.
- I typically play with an 85 flex, cut down to 56" (heel to top). Is there a big difference with a 64" cut down to 56" or would I be better off doing the 75 flex at 60" cut down to 56?
- Hi, definitely stick with the 85 flex. The extra length on pro stock sticks should simply be thought of as a bonus. Bottom line is that wherever you cut it will be the same as regular height. Also note that we have 85 flex sticks in stock for Pro Blackouts that are not extended length, and $20 cheaper (if that helps). Joey Walsh
