With so much uncertainty right now, it's nice to hear more positive news coming out of the hockey world today. Following the lead of other hockey manufacturers like Bauer and Brian's, CCM announced that they would be converting production to be focused on Personal Protective Equipment to help combat the COVID-19 virus.
The company's Montreal facility will be producing up to 150 of these hoods per day with the intention of distributing to Quebec area healthcare professionals. Though they still require government certification, the hoods are expected to be an effective preventative measure against the spread of Coronavirus, in addition to the 500,000 surgical masks that CCM had previously donated.
Thank you CCM for doing your part and we hope that they will be able to get back to making top end twigs before long!
